We work solely for you and have only your interests at heart. We still get paid in the traditional manner, from the proceeds of the sale by the seller. It is a “good thing” for you as a buyer to be represented by your own agent. The agent, who presents a property for sale and has their sign on it works for the seller and is called the “listing agent”.
If you choose to purchase the property through them then they become a “dual agent”. This means they must act for both you and the seller impartially .

To be properly represented and to get all the information it is advisable to get your own “buyer's “ agent.
